VALOR American Home

The year was 2009. A recession had set foot in the United States. Many were losing their livelihood, homes, and friends.

In this dark period of time, I began to receive calls from colleagues who were among those suffering from the economic downturn. I began to think what a "mess" the home furnishings industry had become. Having been a part of the industry my entire career, I had seen many American artisans lose their jobs to outsourcing of labor. I witnessed companies, households, and entire towns collapse.

"What could I possibly do to bring some of these jobs back to our own shores and neighborhoods before it is too late? The skill set will surely disappear if something isn't done," I thought to my self.

Thus, I began a 8-year journey to find American artisans whose passion is to create top-quality home furnishings in a sustainable manner. My search took me across the nation from coast-to-coast and border-to-border. I was able to assemble a family of diverse skills and talents.

In the end, I truly believe our lives will be judged not by what we have obtained, but rather, what we have done for others.--To this accord, every purchase of this brand will result in the contribution to an American charity which the consumer assists in selecting.

In 2017, the brand, VALOR American Home, was born. Every item offered is made in the USA of all possible materials sourced in the USA. It is through continued support of like-minded souls that the brand proceeds to grow and add new artisans.
