Cottage by the Sea
Challenging in space, yet abundant in charm, is the character of this 1920's bungalow by the beach. The new homeowners desired a fresh, updated view of the life at the coast: casual, contemporary, comfortable. Containing a mere 750 square feet, the little abode needed to accommodate not only the usual essentials of living, but also a music room, study, painting atelier, and guest quarters. Through very articulate space planning and appropriate furnishings selection, success was achieved.
Manhattan Grand
An affinity for all things French Empire/Neoclassical, this client had lavish taste and a lifestyle to match. Image was everything. Gold and black, lent formality while furnishings recalled the elegance and grandeur of a bygone era. But all was not reminiscent.--Contemporary art and accessories kept things fresh!
